I would like to know where do I find the lint compartment? To take out the lint.
For model number WTW4955HW1
Hi Damaris,
Thank you for your question. The lint filter is located under the basket in the bottom of the outer tub assembly. You will need to remove the basket and agitator to get to the filter. The filter is held in place by screws. If you have any questions, please let us know. We are open 7 days a week. We look forward to hearing from you!

Hello, Above model washer(< 3 years old) spills out water on to the floor all four sides during operation despite machine level being verified. However, not totally convinced though, the water spillage appears commonly during the automatic spin/rinse cycle (implementation of optional cycles are not affective). I would appreciate any potential solution you may provide. I am also a diy type home owner and would like any helpful insight.

Hi Richard, thank you for reaching out. We would recommend checking the drain hose first. If it is fine, the issue could be with the drain pump, part number PS11770076. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!

I have an agitator where we put the fabric softener in when we are washing clothes. In the last wash or two we are seeing black and brown gunk is landing all over our clean close. I took the top of the fabric softener dispenser off and inside the agitator it is full of soap scum. How do you clean the inside of the dispenser out?
For model number WTW4955HW1
Hello Jeff, Thank you for your question. One thing you can do is run the cycle with no clothing using one gallon of vinegar. Also, you may try filling a large bowl of boiliing hot water and let the whole dispenser sit it it for an hour or so. You may need to weight it down as it tends to float up. Then, using an old toothbrush, simply remove the softened soap scum. Repeat every 3 months. We hope this helps!

Hub had warn its grooved teeth off and washer wouldnt agitate
ordered hub and it shipped quickly. I was able to put the hub in place and screw the screws in. you want to tighten them down slowly and go around to each screw tightening a little at a time so you don't break the hub. as you tighten the screws down the hub slides down flush. its impossible to just push the hub on with your hand.
