Machine continues to try to drain cycle
For model number WTW4655JW2
Hello William, thank you for getting in touch. Ensure the drain hose isn't kinked, bent, or crushed, as this can restrict water flow. Check the drain pump, part number PS11770076. If there is debris or the drain pump is blocked, clear it. Also, do a continuity test, if the pump is faulty replace it. We hope this helps.

WTW4655JW2 Whirlpool Washer, keeps trying to drain it goes for a hour. There is no water in there. Or, anything else. What should i do. Thank you.
For model number WTW4655JW2
Hi Dave, thank you for reaching out. According to our research, you need to inspect the water level pressure switch. A faulty pressure switch or a clogged/kinked hose leading to it can cause the machine to falsely believe there is water in the tub, signaling the pump to run constantly. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. The pressure switch in your model comes integrated into the control board. So, you might need to replace the control board to fix the issue. The part number is PS16744865. We hope this solves your problem!

Washer stops working mid cycle and lid lock is on. If you try to cancel it or even unplug it. You cant open it. Thank you.
For model number WTW4655JW2
Hi Dave,
Thank you for your question. If the washer stops mid-cycle, the lid lock is likely malfunctioning. This lid lock, also known as a latch assembly, is used to secure the lid of your washing machine during the wash cycle. To verify if the lid lock is operating normally, you will need to inspect it. Before removing and inspecting the lid lock, unplug the washer from the electrical outlet. Then verify that it is operating mechanically and see if the levers and actuators are damaged or sticking. If it is working mechanically, then you will need to test it for continuity with a multimeter on the Rx1 setting. Place the probes on onto the terminals and hold the switch button down. You should receive a reading of zero. If you get any other reading, you will need a replacement lid lock. We hope this helps!

Noise, grinding sounds. Wash tub stopped turning but motor and cycles kept functioning. Process of elimination, must be the clutch assembly.
Easy, just followed the repair video. Recommend also ordering the drive belt. Bought one locally during my repair.

Scratches in Surface
This product comes in a bottle with a brush like Liquid Paper. It goes on incredibly easy. A second coat might be needed. I wanted to prevent rust from setting in so I covered the scratches and dings. The paint is a little brighter since my washer is 10 years old but it still looks great.
