Ok I think my problem is that my washer door isn't locking, so there for its not working I think. But my question, what can I do or is there anything that can be done to fix it?

Thank you for your question. If the washer starts to fill with water and stops, and you hear a humming noise, the issue may be with the water inlet valve, but you should also check the lid latch. Before removing and testing these parts for continuity with a multimeter on the Rx1 setting, unplug the washer from the electrical outlet. First inspect the water inlet valve for signs of leaks, cracks, and brittle water tubing. If there are no visible signs of damage, test it with the multimeter. When testing the water inlet valve, you should receive a reading of 200-500 ohms, but this may vary between models and you will need to consult your manual. If you do not get the correct reading, you will need to replace the water inlet valve. For the lid latch, You should receive a reading of zero. If you get any other reading, you will need a replacement lid latch. We hope this helps!
This product comes in a bottle with a brush like Liquid Paper. It goes on incredibly easy. A second coat might be needed. I wanted to prevent rust from setting in so I covered the scratches and dings. The paint is a little brighter since my washer is 10 years old but it still looks great.
We had the washer for more than 10 years, and the hose start leaking. We were happy with our whirpool washer and wanted just to replace the hose. Thanks to partselect.com we found the part we needed and hope to use our washer for many more years.
