I have an upright freezer an the red light on the control panel is on and a buzzing alarm is sounding and will not freeze water for ice?

Keep your freezer door closed, and the light will go out in a few hours. If it still does not go off, you may need to replace the temperature sensor, part number PS11753994. We hope that helps!

I have a little red light that is blinking over temp alert

Hello Robert, thank you for contacting us. The blinking red "Over Temperature Alert" light means your freezer's internal temperature has risen above 19°F (-7°C). To turn off the flashing light and the alert tone, press the Temp Setting button on the control panel once. The light will then stay solid until the freezer cools back down below 19 degrees F. Replacement was very easy as new ice maker was identical to the old one. Took about 10 minutes.

Compressor would not run. My daughter was told that compressor was bad and needed to be replaced. Cost would be $550 labor plus parts. I could hear a clicking sound I believe was made by the starter relay. I ordered the parts from part select and had them in three days.
