My refrigerator has 5 LED lights on the top, 3 on the right side and two on the left side. I do not have any problems with them. It has 4 led lights on the sides, 2 on the right and two on the left. They are flickering constantly. What is the problem, and how do I repair them?
For model number WRX988SIBM03
Hi Carlo,
Thank you for your question. If the lights are flickering inside the refrigerator, you will need to check the light assemblies, the door switch and the LED emitter control board. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Evaporator loads up with ice. Begins immediately then eventually I have to manually defrost. Freezer 0 degrees, icemaker full. Middle drawer 32 degrees. Main fridge 50 degrees. It used to defrost leaving a large puddle in front of refrigerator. Not lately. Ice blocks air tower. I thought I saw a defroster repair kit. Haven't been able to get back there.

Lights inside refrigerator not working
I used a flat-head screwdriver to pop out the old light rocker switch. Then, I unplugged the wires, plugged them into the new light rocker switch, and then popped the new switch into the hole. That's it! Lights began working again.

Ice dispenser motor burnt out, water got inside.
Purchased new motor from Partselect.com. When it arrived it came with a new rubber washer that fitted on top of new motor that was not on old motor, that how water got into old motor. However, the instruction sheet did not give info on how to access the proper way to the motor that is the door. Not wanting to damage the freezer door assy.

called in a tech who made it look easy, but even he had a little problem locating access panel that was directly under the motor in the freezer side of the door. After that it was a piece of cake.

while closing the door, the light switch fouled, resulting in the switch breaking
I used a flat screwdriver and released the lock tab on the bottom of the light switch, and pried the switch out, being careful to not damage the plastic around the mounting place of the switch, unplugged wiring from old switch, plugged in the new one and pushed the new switch into place. Job finished light switch now working.
