I have a whirlpool refrigerator in my camper. Everything works on it as it was brand new installed in the camper before purchase. We gave it the 24 hour allotted time to get cold but still is remaining at room temp.
One of the things I had seen was that if it is not level it won't run? is this true?

Hi Nathan, thank you for your question. For the refrigerator to run function, it needs to be levelled properly. If your refrigerator is not levelled, you may need the levelling leg, part number PS11731286. We hope this helps!
Over the past couple of weeks, I noticed that things in the freezer started to defrost. I turned down the temp, and now the freezer freezes, but so does the fridge. What part should I look at replacing/ testing? Thanks

Hello Rebecca, thank you for getting in touch. Based on our understanding of the issue, we would suggest you replace the thermistor, part number PS12745758. We hope this solves your problem!
I have replaced both thermistors, hasn't changed anything. Both the freezer and refrigerator are too warm on the first setting. On the second setting, both compartments freeze. freezer to about -4 and refer drops to 24-28 degrees. unit is approx 8 years old.
What else should I be looking at?
Thanks for any assistance you can give.

I knew the chances of all the freon leaking out was unlikely so I looked at the wiring to the compressor and there was a capacitor and a starter/overload so i figured I would start there. I went on line and found the parts at this site and they were less than the minimum service call charge for a service tech so I figured what the heck le
... Read moret's give her a shot so I did give it a shot. I ordered the parts and they were there in less time than a service tech could come out and i installed the parts and guess what for 90.00 in parts and 15 minutes in time I repaired my refrigerator. Thanks guys, It took less time to order the parts than it did to make the repair so thanks, your website rocks and is very well designed so my hat is off to you guys!
The reason I repaired it myself was because the repairman that diagnosed the problem.didn't come back in two weeks. The evaporator fan sits behind a vented wall in the freezer and directs cold air into freezer and refrigerator.I removed the ice make assembly first and then the freezer wall held in place by two sheet metal nuts. Then remov

I used a flat-head screwdriver to pop out the old light rocker switch. Then, I unplugged the wires, plugged them into the new light rocker switch, and then popped the new switch into the hole. That's it! Lights began working again.
