My ice maker makes a noise(sounds like an old door that needs oiling)and i think the noise is after it dumps ice. Do you know what the sound could be and how to repair it ? DOM 2021

Hello Paul, thank you for the question. First, make sure you have good water pressure going to the refrigerator from your house and check water inlet valve is working fine. If it is fine, then it is possible that the ice maker is producing ice, and the ice gets stuck in the teeth of the ice maker. The motor of the ice maker will constantly try to push the ice out of the ice maker and into the ice bin. Your ice maker is either failing, and the rake has become misaligned, so you need a new ice maker, part number PS17216974. We hope this solves your problem!

Hello Robert, Thank you for your inquiry. We show the compatible ice maker as part# PS17216974 and the piece you are describing appears to be part of the end of the ice maker and you would need to replace the entire ice maker to fix it. We hope this helps you.
Hi Kathy, thank you for the question. Yes, you can order a replacement for the door shelf. The door shelf bin for the fresh food section is part number PS12578777, and the door shelf bar is part number PS11740306. The freezer door shelf trim is part number PS11740304. We hope that helps!
Hi Jody, thank you for your inquiry. Gently lift and lower the arm to see if it moves freely or if it feels stuck. Do not force it, as you could break it. Look for ice jams around the arm's pivot point, the ejector blades, or in the water fill tube at the back of the freezer. If you find ice, use a hair dryer on a low setting to melt it carefully. This product comes in a bottle with a brush like Liquid Paper. It goes on incredibly easy. A second coat might be needed. I wanted to prevent rust from setting in so I covered the scratches and dings. The paint is a little brighter since my washer is 10 years old but it still looks great.
