Icemaker does not make ice

Hello Mike, thank you for your inquiry. Based on our understanding of the issue, we would suggest you check the water pressure from the supply and the temperature setting for the freezer. The water inlet valve supplies water to the ice and water dispensers. The water inlet valve requires a minimum of 20 psi to function properly. Check the water flow and test the pressure to determine if it is at least 20 psi. If the freezer temperature is higher, ice production will be affected. Replace the shutoff arm, part number PS12712096, to fix the issue. We hope this is what you were looking for!
Water was coming out of the door just fine. Now it is trickling out. Filter was changed (still green). Ice machine making ice. Any suggestions?

Hi Cindy, thank you for reaching out. This often happens when air is trapped in the water line after a water filter is replaced. You may try purging water as constantly as possible through the water dispenser for 3 minutes. If this does not solve the issue, then you may have damaged water filter housing, part number PS11759606. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
The water dispenser suddenly started hammering and banging and stuttering loudly and water spurted out in little stutters until finally all we got was the noise and no water.

Hello Kelvin, thank you for reaching out. We have concluded that the issue is with the water inlet valve. If the water inlet valve is defective or has insufficient pressure, it will not allow water to flow through. The valve requires at least 20 psi to function properly. Make sure that the water pressure at the valve is at least 20 psi. If the water pressure is sufficient, use a multimeter to check for power at the water inlet valve. If the water inlet valve has sufficient pressure and is getting power but the water pressure at the door is low, replace the water inlet valve, part number PS11749668. We hope this sorts out your problem!
Simply pulled out old drawer and replaced with new one. This broken drawer really bothered my wife so this simple repair earned me alot of points at home. Lord knows i can use all the extra points i can get. Thanks for the quick shipment of the part. 2 days from time of call to part on my door step. Thanks again
