Ice maker won’t stop making ice. Wire lever acts like it not working properly. It’s loose. I put it in its opening, acts like it doesn’t snap in

Hello Tom, Thank you for writing. This could be an indication the housing that the Shut Off Arm clips into is worn or damaged. The Ice Maker will need to be replaced. We hope this helps, good luck with this repair!
Refrigerator quit dispensing water and making ice. I replaced filter three times. Each time it worked fine for 3-4 days then stopped again. What part do you think is the most likely to fix this problem?

Hello Paula, thank you for getting in touch. You will need to check the water inlet valve, part number PS11749668. This valve is electrically controlled and can become clogged with sediment or fail due to a faulty solenoid which controls the valve's opening and closing. Test the water inlet valve with a multimeter. Check for proper electrical continuity and resistance (ideally between 100 and 500 ohms). If it's faulty, it will need to be replaced. Hi Joanne, thank you for reaching out. The back of the shelf is not listed separately. You may need to replace the broken shelf. The upper glass shelf for the freezer section is part number PS12348919, the middle glass shelf is part number PS12348917, and the lower glass shelf is part number PS12711451. We hope that helps!
Ice maker makes to much ice and the handle doesn't help to turn ice off.

Hello Kent, thank you for your question. You may need to replace the ice maker arm, part number PS16620480. If it is fine, you may need to check the following parts: the temperature sensor, part number PS11753996, the thermistor, part number PS12745758, and the solenoid assembly, part number PS11738908. If they are not causing the issue, you may need to replace the ice maker, part number PS11752389.
I used a flat-head screwdriver to pop out the old light rocker switch. Then, I unplugged the wires, plugged them into the new light rocker switch, and then popped the new switch into the hole. That's it! Lights began working again.
First I removed the old lightbulb from the socket and replaced it with a new one to confirm that the bulb was not the problem. I then pryed the socket out with a flat-head screwdriver. I could tell that the socket was anchored in its hole with clips so it was relatively easy to pry it out. Once the socket was out, I disconnected the le

When the new one arrived, I reconnected the lead wires to it, snapped it back into its hole, screwed in a new lightbulb, and presto!! The light was back on with no further problem. Thank you, Partselect!! A $15.00 part saved me what probably would have been at least a $100. service call and heaven knows what the technician would have told me I needed!!!
