How do I turn the ice maker on and off? What filter do I need? Where can I purchase it? Also how'd you change the filter?
Hi Karen, thank you for reaching out. The water filter you need is part number PS17627405, which is available on our website. To turn the ice maker on or off, there is a switch located on the ice maker itself; you will need to remove the ice bucket to access it. To change the water filter, locate the filter compartment on the right-hand side of the refrigerator ceiling. Push the latch on the filter door to release it, then lower the door. Align the arrow on the water filter label with the cutout notch in the filter housing and insert the filter. Finally, turn the filter knob clockwise 180 degrees (half turn) until it locks securely into the housing. We hope this information helps!

How do I turn the ice maker?
Hello Neil, thank you for contacting us. To turn on the ice maker, simply lower the wire shut-off arm. To manually turn the ice maker off, lift the wire shutoff arm to the off (arm up) position and listen for the click. For ice makers with a switch at the back, use the switch to turn ON or Off the ice maker. Glad to be of assistance!
HINGE HAS TWO PARTS MESHED TOGETHER IMPROPERLYI HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY PARTS. IVE BEEN TRYING SINCE JANUARY 2026 TO GET A NEW HINGE FOR THE RIGHT DOOR (NOT ICE MAKER) FOR MY 4 DOOR FRENCH STYLE, MODEL WRMF3636RZ00. THE TWO PARTS OF THE CURRENT HINGE ARE NOT FULLY MESHED THEREFORE THE DOOR WILL NOT CLOSE EVENLY WITH THE LEFT DOOR. PLEASE HELP ME DO THIS

Do I need a filter plug for this model if I do not want to use filter because I have filtration system hooked to it. If I need once do you have them in stock and what is the price/ Thanks
Hello Donald, thank you for contacting us. Based on our research, this refrigerator does not need a bypass plug to use it without filter. This model uses an internal water valve mechanism within the filter housing. When you remove the water filter, the internal valve automatically seals and bypasses the filter compartment, allowing water to continue flowing to the dispenser and ice maker directly from your external house filtration system. I ordered the part it came in with 2 days during that time I looked up on how to remove and replace the part on the website. The website stated it took around 15 minutes. That is all it took.

I reconnected the wiring per instructions on the website reversed the process and it was done within 15 minutes. I save a lot of money and time away from work. I used a flat screwdriver and released the lock tab on the bottom of the light switch, and pried the switch out, being careful to not damage the plastic around the mounting place of the switch, unplugged wiring from old switch, plugged in the new one and pushed the new switch into place. Job finished light switch now working.
