This remote control is a device for adjusting your air conditioner settings. It requires two AAA batteries for operation. A malfunctioning remote control may have unresponsive buttons or signs of physical damage. You may also notice that your air conditioner does not consistently or promptly respond to commands from the remote control. You will then need to operate your unit manually, which can be inconvenient and limit access to certain features. The side panels needed to mount the AC unit in the window were broken

  • Screw drivers
This is a simple direct replacement: unscrewed the side screws attaching the old panels and frame in place. Replace with the new pieces. Time to install new parts and put the unit in the window was about 15 minutes. Most of the time was finding my screw driver.
