WG168 Worx Edger - Overview

This compression spring is used inside a trimmer’s cutting line feeder to provide tension for smooth line advancement. It helps the spool return to position so new line feeds correctly during use. Replacing a missing or worn spring restores proper line feeding and reliable trimming performance.

This guard assembly is designed for string trimmers and edgers to help protect the operator from flying debris during trimming and edging. Made from durable plastic, it mounts near the cutting head to shield against grass, dirt, and line fragments while maintaining clear cutting visibility. It’s a practical replacement for restoring proper safety and controlled operation when the original guard is damaged or missing.
