Quick wash setting does not let water in tub, not the other settings do. What is the problem and what do I replace
Hello Carol, thank you for reaching out. The issue could be with the cold water inlet valve. It has two independent coils, so one can fail and block water on the Quick Wash setting while the other works fine. You may need to replace it. The part number is PS8713229. We hope this helps!
Will not drain completely; most of the water drains out, but clothes full of water.
Hi Lydia, thank you for reaching out. The drain pump is most likely causing this issue. The internal pump motor can develop electrical or mechanical wear over time, allowing it to handle lighter water flow but losing the torque needed to move a full load of water through the drain hose and up into the household standpipe. This can leave most of the water drained while some remains in the tub, resulting in waterlogged clothes. Replacing the drain pump, part number 00436440, can help restore proper drainage and remove the remaining water from the washer. We hope this solves your problem!
