For model number WCVH4800K3WW
Hello Greg, thank you for contacting us. The issue is most probably related to a faulty control board (inverter), part number PS2374327. It manages the washer's functions such as filling, washing, draining, and spinning. We would also recommend checking the UI control board assembly, part number PS2577696. It processes the cycle settings you choose. Customer service is available 7 days a week if you require assistance placing an order. Thanks again for reaching out!
Just died in the middle of washing. The door is still locked, with the laundry inside of it. The power went out while operating, so maybe a power surge damaged the unit? Nothing happens when I push the power button, no lights or anything else, and I can't unlock/open the door. It did not trip the circuit breaker in my house, and there is still power at the socket.
Is this a blown control board?
