If your air conditioner is not blowing cold air, the problem may be in the capacitor. If the capacitor fails, the compressor will not start and the fan will only blow warm air. The compressor and capacitor are located inside the cabinet and to gain access you will need to remove the cover. If the capacitor does not show any visible signs of damage you may require a qualified technician to test it. Make sure that the replacement capacitor has the same specifications as the original. Bad thermistor

Took front cover off air conditioner and pulled it a little forward out of the outdoor housing. I then flipped the LED display section out to the left and exposed the patch panel. The next step was to remove the panel with a small screwdriver and disconnect the old thermistor plug. I then plugged in the new one, remove the old one from th e grid bracket and placed the new one in. I then replaced everything else in reverse order. I have two LG air conditioners and they both have the same connection setup.
