The plastic cover for one of the lights on this range hood fell off. I tried to stick it back on, and the whole bulb kind of flashed, then the entire range hood lost power. It will not operate, no lights, no fan, no function whatsoever. I have reset the breakers, and removed that particular bulb from the unit. GE says these bulbs are "out of stock" and their customer service is of no help whatsoever. Is there a fuse that may need replacing? If so, where is it located?

Hello Michelle, thank you for reaching out to us. Based on the description of the issue, the short circuit from the bulb could have caused the control board to fail. You will need to check the control board, part number PS16554373, inspect for burning signs. If the control board has failed, you will need to replace it to restore power back. Also, check the bulb socket, part number PS16219521. Make sure the socket is not causing the short circuit. The lamp you are looking for is part number PS16542126. We hope this information helps!
