Homelite Electric log splitter, hydraulic oil leaked out when it was turned on side. Asking how much oil it takes and how to refill? What type of hydraulic oil?
Hello Denise, Thank you for writing. I am attaching a link that will take you to page 13 of your owner's manual on how to change the hydraulic fluid. This goes over everything you need. It only says hydraulic oil it does not specify anything else. Best Regards

One of the three screws holding the cowling covering the fan had siezed. This required drilling out and re-tapping a 10/32 hole. The plastic fan received from the mold was not well finished, and required some filing and sanding of the mounting hole in order to fit onto the spindle secured by an O-ring. Works well now.
