This OEM switch is used on a variety of different lawn equipment models and is sold individually. This switch is used to turn your lawn equipment on and off, so if your equipment is either not turning on, or this switch feels loose within its housing, it may be time to replace it. To remove it, separate the two halves of the housing which it connects to, disconnect the throttle and other wires with pliers, and depress the securing tabs. To install the new switch, click it into place within the housing and connect the appropriate wires to the two terminals, and then reconnect the throttle cable and other wires, and then simply align the two halves of the housing and secure with screws.

Trimmer head worn out from normal use

Lay trimmer on bench so Phillips head screw on end of shaft just above trimmer head is up. Turn trimmer head until you see a gap open just below screw. Insert Allen wrench in gap. Hold in on Allen wrench with one hand while turning trimmer head to the right. Reverse threads lefty tighty ,righty loosey.
