Once the carburetor is has a sufficient level of fuel, any excess fuel will be forced back into the fuel tank through the return line attached to the carburetor. If your primer bulb has a darker appearance or has lost its elasticity and does not return to its original shape, it means the rubber will likely soon crack, which will lead to fuel leaking into the engine and ignition system. To replace your primer bulb, simply remove the outside cover and primer bulb cover and replace the bulb within its housing.
