Return Grommet – Part Number: 6697846
No Longer Available
Return Grommet
Part #6697846
This individually sold grommet is a genuine OEM part and is used for a variety of different small engine/outdoor lawn equipment. The return fuel line from the carburetor is installed through this grommet, which creates a seal to prevent future leaks and ignition issues. Over time and through exposure to fuel, the grommet can wear down, leading to cracks, tears, and missing pieces. If you notice fuel is leaking during operation, or are having issues with starting the engine, this grommet may be the cause. Depending on your model, installing the return line in the grommet and then installing both together in the fuel tank may be easiest, rather than installing them separately.
Fuel Line – Part Number: 6688169
No Longer Available
Fuel Line
Part #6688169
The fuel pipe/fuel line assembly is a genuine OEM parts kit used in gas-powered outdoor equipment with dimensions of 5mm x 160mm. It includes a pipe or line, which carries fuel from the tank to the carburetor, and a rubber grommet which holds the fuel line in place. The grommet also has a flange that prevents it from being pulled into the body of your equipment. Over time the grommet may wear down and the fuel line can become brittle and crack causing fuel leakages and difficulty starting or running your equipment. Therefore, it is important to routinely inspect this assembly and replace it when it shows signs of wear. Before your repair, drain the fuel for your safety and to prevent contaminating the fuel tank. To install a new fuel pipe assembly, simply pull off the old grommet and detach the fuel line. Carefully insert your new fuel line into the new grommet and connect the line to the carburetor and the fuel filter inside the fuel tank on your equipment.
Primer Bulb – Part Number: 6684689
No Longer Available
Primer Bulb
Part #6684689
Also known as a priming bulb, this OEM replacement part is an individually sold rubber primer bulb. Since it is made of rubber, it will eventually lose its elasticity and crack or break, and need replacing. It is designed for use with a variety of different small engine equipment and is also known as a purge bulb. Pressing this primer bulb forces fuel through the fuel line and into the carburetor from the fuel tank. Once the carburetor is has a sufficient level of fuel, any excess fuel will be forced back into the fuel tank through the return line attached to the carburetor. If your primer bulb has a darker appearance or has lost its elasticity and does not return to its original shape, it means the rubber will likely soon crack, which will lead to fuel leaking into the engine and ignition system. To replace your primer bulb, simply remove the outside cover and primer bulb cover and replace the bulb within its housing.

Cleaner Element
Part #6690347
This OEM-made cleaner element, also known as an air filter, helps keep the engine clean by filtering the air that goes inside. It is 1/4 inches in height, 3 1/2 inches in length, 1/2 inches in width, and usually found in a housing near the engine of your lawn equipment. To check if it is broken, look for tears, holes, and debris on it. When the filter is damaged or clogged, it restricts the airflow in your machine. This can cause problems like potential misfires, expensive repairs, and even engine failure. To replace your cleaner element, you will need to access the element housing and remove retaining screws or clips using a socket or screwdriver. Once you slide out the housing cover, lift the element out of your machine. Prior to installing the new cleaner element, it is advisable to refer to your owners manual as your machine may have specific instructions for this procedure.
