Part #5687301
The OEM Air Filter is used to stop debris and particles from entering the carburetor and engine, which could cause damage. It is attached in the air filter housing. It comes in black, and is contructed from foam. Installation is rated as "Easy" by customers, and will require a screwdriver. (Tip: You can place the filter in a plastic bag with a bit of oil, remove it, and then squeeze the filter to drain the excess oil. The remaining oil will work as a sticky trap). Refer to your make, model and diagram to ensure this is the correct part for you.

Over time and through use, the spring will eventually lose its tension, and will break. If your starter rope has no resistance when pulling it, the starter spring is likely broken. Spring
Part #06713
Springs are used within outdoor power equipment to provide tension and shock absorption, depending on their application and use. This spring is designed for use within trimmers/brush cutters and is made to provide tension on the spool reel mechanism, and in some cases may be used to advance the line whenever portions of it are cut off. This spring measures approximately 1.3-inches in length when extended and comes as an individual part. If you notice the line/spool in your trimmer is not advancing or is coming too quickly, the spring may be damaged and need replacing. Since this spring is a high-use part, it is not uncommon for it to lose tension over time and need to be replaced. To replace the spring, you will need to unscrew the covering cap, remove the spool feeding reel, remove the old spring and install the new spring with the rest of the assembly. Make sure to feed the line back into the appropriate feeding holes prior to operation of the trimmer.

Gasket
Part #900954001
This crankcase cover gasket seals the crankcase cover of your lawn equipment engine, preventing air or fuel leaks and maintaining proper internal pressure. It is sized at 2 1/2 inches by 2 1/2 inches and is commonly found where the crankcase cover attaches to the engine block. You can tell if a crankcase cover gasket is broken if there is oil around the edges of the cover. Your machine may also experience a loss of power or unusual noise. If the gasket is not replaced, your machine may have fuel leaks or decreased performance. Debris and contaminants will also enter the engine, reducing the lifespan of your machine. When replacing the gasket, use a wrench or socket to unthread any bolts securing the crankcase cover. You will then be able to take the gasket off your machine. Bear in mind that this OEM gasket is sold individually.
