This top burner knob is a matte black in color with a logo. This part is sold individually and accepts a D-shaped shaft. The knob measures 2 inches in diameter. The burner knob allows you to determine the temperature of the surface burner on your cooktop. The replacement of the knob is extremely easy and does not require the use of any tools. Simply pull the old knob off its post and snap the new knob into place. This is a genuine OEM part that comes straight from the manufacturer.

I feel very silly doing this. I'm 76 year old female and always, well most always did home my own home repair. This was a no brainer, a 4 year old child could do it......I just had to find the right replacement knob, order it and when it arrived I put it in the place where the first one was missing. :-) Just trying to be silly here ....he he

Cleaned the brass ring and replaced the cap.
New brass rings may be an improvement too.

The main issue was getting actual knobs for a cooktop that is well over 21 years old. Clearly I am the first to really cook on it!
These are the proper fit. Two were broken. Easy to simply lineup and push down to install.
The main point I would like to make is the Wonderful Woman who took my call and basically searched for the knobs. Thank you Thankyou!
