When the dishwasher does not sense a closed door, it may refuse to start. A worn door switch can also cause the machine to stop during a wash cycle. Check the latch, strike, and nearby wires before buying a replacement. Use the full dishwasher model number to confirm the correct part. Always disconnect electrical power before removing the inner door panel. If the wires or connectors look burned or damaged, ask a trained technician to inspect the machine.

Good water flow depends on a clean dishwasher filter. The cylinder-shaped part traps food and helps keep debris away from the pump and spray system. If dishes stay dirty, inspect the filter, spray arms, and drain area before buying a replacement. Confirm fit with the complete appliance model number. Disconnect power and wait for hot parts to cool. Install the filter in the correct position, lock it securely, and make sure the lower spray arm can turn freely.

Clean and inspect the seal before ordering a replacement. Confirm fit with the complete appliance model. Disconnect the power and close the water valve before service. Note how the old gasket sits, install the new one in the same direction, and make sure the corners lie flat before running a test cycle.

Check these parts before ordering a replacement. Confirm the correct assembly with the full appliance model. Disconnect electrical power and shut off the water supply before opening the dishwasher. Keep seals and mounting pieces in order, then check for leaks and proper drying after reassembly.

Part #12176000008784
