Mullion heater on fridge french doors broke
The Mullion heater flap that connects french doors of Thermador fridge broke. It was hanging off hinges and needed to be removed and replaced. Local repair shop quoted $500 (!!!) for installation and same price for the part. Decided to DIY fix it.
I used needle nose pliers and I needed a star key wrench to loosen the panel of t ... Read more he fridge door to remove the old broken parts. Then I was able to insert the new parts, tighten fridge panel, hang the new heater on two hinges, attach electric cable for the heater and DONE.
Received parts from Partselect within 3 business days and got free shipping by asking for it. Repair was super straightforward.
10/10 would recommend doing yourself if you face this issue.
