Icemaker Control Assembly

The icemaker control assembly is located in the freezer section of your refrigerator. It is what controls the icemaker. The control turns the timing cams and the ejector blades. It controls most of the basic parts and functions, such as the heater, the water inlet valve, the cube size, and cube ejection. This replacement includes the control module and the motor, the motor is not sold separately. There are a number of reasons you might need to replace this part: if the motor is faulty, if any of the gears are worn out, or any of the plastic pieces are broken or damaged. If your icemaker is not functioning properly, you should start by testing this module. Before you begin repairing your refrigerator, make sure it is unplugged.

Light Rocker Switch

This light rocker light switch is used in a number of household appliances. It is most often found in refrigerators and freezers. This is a simple mechanism that helps turn the light in your appliance on and off. If the door of your appliance is open the light should be on, and if the door is closed the light should be off. Your appliance door is opened and closed frequently, meaning the mechanism may wear out over time. It is not uncommon that this part will need to be replaced. You may need a putty knife to release the mounting tab and remove the faulty rocker switch. To install the new one, simply attach the wires and snap it into place in the liner of your refrigerator or freezer.

Evaporator Fan Motor - 60Hz 120V

These coils will convert the heat into cool air, which is then circulated. The most common reason for needing to replace the motor is if the temperature in your freezer and fridge are inconsistent, or there is no air circulating at all. You will need a quarter inch nut driver and a pair of needle nose pliers for this repair. Note: This motor uses 2 brackets, which are sold separately.
