Stud: Rocker Arm – Part Number: 14 072 22-S

Stud: Rocker Arm
Part #14 072 22-S
This rocker arm stud in your engine connects the rocker arm to the cylinder head, acting as a pivot point for its movement. It is threaded into the cylinder head, with the rocker arm mounted on top. If the rocker arm stud is broken, you may notice deformations or missing parts. This can cause misalignment of the rocker arm, resulting in ticking or knocking engine noises. If you do not replace it, the broken stud can lead to power loss, engine misfires, or even engine failure. To remove a stud from your engine, you will need to access the cylinder head. Refer to your user manual for instructions on how to disassemble your machine. Using a wrench or socket, remove any fasteners securing the rocker arm. Lift the rocker arm up to gain access to the stud. Then, loosen and unscrew the stud from the cylinder head. This replacement part is sourced directly from its original equipment manufacturer and is sold separately from the rocker arm.
