removing 2 wire caps where the wires from the igniter spliced into the power source. Once the wires were disconnected, I unscrewed the 2 Phillips screws that attached the igniter to the mounting bracket and removed the old igniter. I had to cut the wires on the new igniter to the correct length and stripped the insulation so about 1/4" of bare wire was exposed to splice to the wire from the power source. I then attached the igniter to the mounting bracket (2 screws), twisted the wires together to connect to the power and attached the wire connector caps. I reinstalled the protective housing (1 screw) making sure the wires were clear and not being pinched. Plugged the power cord back in, turned the oven on and everything worked fine.
