I need the part to change this model hotpoint stove from using l.p. gas to natural gas

Hi Alice, Thank you for your question. To change the burners on the stovetop from LP to natural gas, you will need to purchase 4 natural gas orifices, part number PS240693. They are sold individually. To convert your oven from natural gas to propane or propane to natural gas, you will need to access the regulator and adjust the plastic plug on the cap. Take a wrench and unscrew the cap. Under the cap, you will find a plug. The gas type that the regulator is set for is closest to the cap which would be propane. Take the plug out, rotate and place the opposite end inside the cap and snap it in. The plug will have the gas type molded into it. If you have any questions, please let us know. We hope this helps!

My husband and I simply took the burner units out of the packing, took the old ones off, put the new ones in. The new units needed to be leveled, but the leveling nuts included fit perfectly, and the entire repair took less than 15 minutes.

The toughest part of the repair was the preparation to remove the old burners. As a result of the burning there was a carbon residue on the burners, on the gas outlet feed to the burners.
