Freezer warm. Temp for freezer on the display reads that it reached set point however it is not the right temp

Freezer on bottom left door does not get frozen even the temp on the display shows that it reached set point RF28K9380SR

Hello Josh, thank you for your inquiry. If you find your freezer isn't cooling as it used to, double-check that the freezer door seal PS8762323 hasn't worn down. Over time, the seals along the doors may break down some, letting in warm air. We hope this helps.

hen holding an ice cube on the sensor so I just assumed it was ok. PLEASE TAKE NOTE: When performing a resistance check on this sensor, make sure your readings match the Samsung temp/resistance chart in their literature. My sensor was way off calibration and was causing the freeze up. Its working as designed now and DW is happy again. Learn from my mistake.

Ice container assembly cracked
I simply removed the old container & carefully removed all built up ice from the area that was to house the new container. This site helped me find the correct container in minutes. Will definitely use them again.

Plastic housing for ice maker cracked preventing the internal mechanism from moving/emptying ice cubes
Since the ice maker was no longer able to empty ice and the problem was a large crack in the plastic housing right near where the internal screw connects to maker (which we were unable to fix with something simple like tape) we simply had to swap out the whole ice maker.
