Part #4280A20004M
Unusual noise from an indoor blower can be caused by a worn blower wheel bearing. This replacement bearing provides a smooth support point that allows the wheel to rotate while moving air across the room. Inspect the wheel for cracks, dirt, rubbing marks, or looseness, since these problems can produce similar sounds. Turn off the unit at the breaker and verify that power is disconnected before opening the cabinet. Keep track of screws, clips, and wheel position during removal. Install the bearing in the correct direction, avoid forcing it into place, and spin the wheel by hand to check for rubbing before reassembly.

If the fan assembly in your room air conditioner is not operating properly, you will need to replace it with this part. This fan assembly has 5 blades and is approximately 14-1/2 inches in diameter. It is made of white plastic. You will need to open your air conditioner, and most likely remove it from the wall/window to complete this repair. Be sure to disconnect power to the unit before you begin this repair.

very tight working situations. made a mistake with a delicate piece of the fan and broke it and that rendered the part unuseful. Since I broke it I considered it to be my fault and just threw it away. Ordered another from another company hoping that just maybe it would be more durable. It arrived in only 4 days. Yours took well over a week to arrive. Thanks for asking for my experience.
