Code is F200. And oven raises to 500 degrees. Door shocks. Turned off oven. Wait a couple of minutes. Then turned oven back on and process repeated. Finally turned off breaker.
Hi Salvador, thank you for reaching out. The error code F2 or F20 means the oven has detected a temperature inside the oven that has exceeded the preset threshold. You need to check the vents for blockages like grease. Blocked vents can cause the oven to overheat. Blocked vents can also affect the vent fans. Cleaning the oven vents may resolve the error code. A faulty temperature sensor could also be the reason your oven is overheating. Test the temperature sensor for continuity using a multimeter. A reading above 1,090 ohms means the sensor is not working properly and needs to be replaced. You will also need to check the control board for any visible burnouts or damages. A faulty control board can also cause the oven to overheat. We hope this information is useful.
