This is a counter cook top and instructions show a "stove cook top". My difficulty is removing the "glass cook top" from the burner section attached to glass surface.
Any suggestions or instruction would be valuable.
Presently have unit on my work bench.

Hi Stan, thank you for your inquiry. According to our research, to remove the glass top, you will need to remove the screws on the front and sides of the bottom burner box. Then lift up the glass top. We hope this information helps!

first ,troubleshot switch--it was ok. next,troubleshot triple element & found that the 9in portion had an open in the heating element itself ordered .new element,installed it .Works like new!
Been procrastinating putting in the new element but decided to do it yesterday even if it meant eating breakfast out. Twenty minutes after starting , breakfast was cooking, at home on the new element. Two screws out, switch wires, snap on retainers, replace two screws and you're done!
