Circuit Breaker
Part #0049071SRV
This is an authentic OEM sourced part which is specially made for Powermate generators. The circuit breaker functions as a safety device. When the circuit becomes overloaded, this switch interrupts the transfer of electricity to the motor. Over time it may develop electrical or mechanical issues eventually requiring a replacement to ensure your equipment functions properly. Please refer to the appropriate diagrams of your model for the correct location and installation of the new part. Keep in mind this high-quality circuit breaker is sold individually. Capacitor
Part #0051251SRV
This replacement part is specially designed for Powermate generators. The capacitor is a two-terminal electrical device used to store electrical energy in the form of an electric field. It provides leading current in AC circuits. In a DC circuit, the capacitor once charged with the applied voltage acts as an open switch. This is an identical replacement for a missing or a faulty component that was installed on a new unit. Please make sure to refer to the appropriate diagram of your model for the correct location and application of this capacitor. Keep in mind this high-quality item is sold individually.

Andy - For model number PM042250502
June 11, 2026
Used unit one time and put away. Now want to use and it runs but now output. Changed breaker but still nothing. Where do i look next? Thanks
Chris Boyle Profile
Hello Andy, thank you for reaching out. Since the breaker has already been replaced, the next areas to check are the excitation capacitor and the generator windings. A failed capacitor can prevent the generator from building voltage even though the engine runs normally. Also inspect the rotor and stator windings for signs of overheating, damaged insulation, or an open circuit. If either the capacitor or the rotor/stator windings have failed, the generator may run properly but produce no electrical output. The capacitor is part number PS11871119. We hope this information helps!
