We haven’t used our chainsaw in some time. We have checked the instructions, extension cord and still cannot get it to start. Please help as we are in some really bad weather here in Texas and need the chainsaw

Thank you for your question. If your electric chainsaw does not start, make sure that you are using a 3-pronged power cord. Check the electrical breaker to see if it has tripped and also make sure that the safety lock is engaged before you press the trigger to activate the chainsaw.
