There are 2 screws that fasten the door to the microwave body that have become loose and will not tighten, what part is needed to resolve this issue?

Door is very loose. There is a vertical plate that is part of, or welded to, the frame of the microwave. The plate has two tabs that project forward for the door to connect to. The whole plate has come loose. How does it attach? It appears that it had some very small spot welds. How do you recommend it be repaired?

After that, place the door on a smooth surface. Remove the inner trim with the help of a putty knife. Un-thread the screws securing the inner door panel. You will get access to the screws securing the door latch. You may need to un-thread them to replace the door latch. We hope this helps!

I first removed the top plate above the microwave door (3 screws), then I removed the plate containing the buttons and clock. The microwave has 3 relay switches and they are in a little holder. The holder was too difficult to remove so I just removed the bottom switch and replaced. The microwave started right up.

Removed the 3 screws to drop the lower panel and, removeed the turn table plate and ring. Then removed the 2 screws holding the motor, the 2 wires attached to the motor and removed the old motor.Replaced the new motor in the reverse order. DO NOT FORGET TO UNPLUG THE MICROWAVE FIRST.
