What do I need to do to get two of our 4 burners to ignite using the switch?
For model number PLCS389DCB
Hello Tammy, Thank you for the question. The Burner should ignite after turning the Knob. If this does not ignite the burner, you may have a defective igniter in the burner. We hope this helps!

Why does my Slide in Dual Fuel Range have a F1 code on the digital panel. It beeps, I have to unplug it. Please tell me what’s wrong with it and can it be fixed. . I love my stove . Thank you
For model number PLCS389DCB
Hello Kaye, thank you for your inquiry. According to our research, the error code F1 indicates a runaway oven temperature. This means that the electronic oven control has detected abnormally high temperature in the oven cavity. We would recommend checking the temperature sensor, part number PS820208. It measures the oven temperature and sends the information to the control board. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this helps!

oven element broken
The repair was simple; first I removed the 2 screws from the old element and disconnected the wires and then I inserted the new element reconnected the wires and replaced the screws . The repair was easy and took less that 15 min. The oven works as good as new and I saved alot of money by doing it myself.

Closer inspection revealed that the element had shorted somehow to the oven itself and caused the element to become non-functional. I tried measuring the resistance first, and it was within typical values for the other elemen

ts, but I decided to replace the element anyway.
I ordered from PD and the part arrived just a few days letter by regular shipping. I undid the screws holding in the element, undid the wire connectors and replaced the broken element with the new one. The element worked like a charm and I was back in business for cooking.
