I need to replace the foam side of my filter, can you purchase a foam filter or do you have to buy the whole filter? I am also looking for something to fit inside to clean the lint out of the opening where the filter fits. Any ideas would help

Hi Robert, thank you for reaching out. Pull out the lint screen. Remove the visible lint with your fingers and dispose of it. For a deeper clean of the screen itself, wash it with warm, soapy water and a nylon brush to remove residue from fabric softeners or detergents, then let it air dry completely before reinserting. Use a long, flexible dryer vent brush to reach deep into the empty lint filter compartment. Move the brush around to loosen any lint and dust stuck to the sides and bottom of the slot. We are having issues with drying times. I understand that it's ventless and that that will effect time, but we are running into drying times of 2+hours with just a regular load of non heavy items. What can I check besides making sure the filter is clean?

Hello Greg, thank you for the question. Start by cleaning the lower drain pump filter behind the small access panel at the bottom front of the machine. If this filter is clogged with lint and debris, water cannot drain properly during the dry cycle, leaving your clothes in a humid environment that significantly extends drying time. Next clean the secondary foam filter thoroughly with soap and water, fabric softener residue can saturate this filter and severely restrict airflow even when it looks clean at a glance. Also, inspect the internal heat pump fins inside the lint housing. The primary filter does not catch all lint and over time buildup on these fins blocks airflow significantly. Use a long flexible brush or vacuum crevice tool to gently clear any lint from the fins. Finally check the external drain hose behind the machine. If it is kinked, blocked, or inserted too far into the standpipe the pump cannot clear water efficiently, forcing moisture back into the drum and extending the dry cycle. The first thing to get is a baking sheet/pan and a bucket. You'll want to get it as close to the drain as possible. Be ready for ALOT of water to be in there. Ease it out and dump the water into the bucket until it's all out. Next you'll have to prop up the front of the machine at least 4 or 5 inches. You'll need pliers to loosen the hos

Followed YouTube instructions to lay the machine on its back, for easier access to the pipes and drain pump from the exposed bottom of the machine. Cleared the pipes first of a slight clog in the filter, turned the machine upright again, but it still did not drain. Laid the machine on its back again, after ordering a new drain pump, and f
... Read moreitted the new pump. Again, it did not work, but left the new pump in and ordered a new control board. Fitting a new control board involves detaching the control panel and cabinet top, which is not hard, then extracting the old control board. Taking off the wiring clips turned out to be significantly more difficult than re-connecting them when the new control board arrived. Fitting a new control board can easily be done with the machine upright. This time the draining did work, yay, and the washer is now fully functional again.
Disassemble according to instructions then remove pump...my only issue was I ordered the pump and paid $11.95 for t 2 to 3 days shipping. I didn't get the part until the following Saturday which was like 6 to 7 days...horrible delivery
