Hi Karen, thank you for getting in touch. Based on our understanding of the issue, we would suggest checking the cycling thermostats and the high limit thermostats. If this does not solve the issue, we would recommend replacing the thermostat, part number PS268245, to solve the problem. It shuts off the heating element when the dryer overheats. We hope that helps!
