Used the cleaning method as stated in the manual for the oven, twice. Grease still found on the sides and back wall. How do get it clean? The manual says use affresh but it doesn't exist.

You recommended affresh to clean my oven. It does not exist. We've tried all types of stores and suppliers and no one has what you recommend. Don't you think someone should look into this and change the directions in the manual??? i am frustrated with a dirty oven that can't be cleaned!!!

We have propane. The heat coming from the burners seem to run so hot even in low. Is there an adjustment we should make?
Thank you kindly,
Dianne
For model number MGR8800FZ0
Hello Dianne, thank you for reaching out to PartSelect. The flame can be adjusted using the adjustment screw in the center of the valve stem. The valve stem is located directly underneath the control knob. If the “Low” flame needs to be adjusted: light 1 burner and turn to lowest setting. Remove the control knob. Hold the knob stem with a pair of pliers. Use a small flat-blade screwdriver to turn the screw located in the center of the control knob stem until the flame is the proper size. Replace the control knob. Test the flame by turning the control from “LO” to “HI,” checking the flame at each setting and ensuring there is a steady flame. Repeat above steps for each burner. We hope this information helps!

How does one buff out a scratch in stainless.
For model number MGR8800FZ0
Hello John and thanks for writing.
Stainless steel is a great look until you scratch it. Then it looks awful. But you can “sand” out the scratches with sandpaper (400 to 600 grit) and a sanding block, an abrasive pad, or with a rubbing compound. Or buy a stainless steel repair kit and get everything you need. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime.

mice had made nests in the insulation wrap in the range
I numbered every part. ex: 1 L., for first part removed left side. I used a magic marker to circle the holes and wrote the number of screws used on the part, set the srews in a separete place, so that I new where these screws went to. The cleanup was pretty time consuming, but I was able to keep my stove, when every repairman I called to

fix my stove told me I was better off buying a new stove. ($600.00 stove 2 years old)Please Note: The insulation blanket needed for the entire stove is two pieces, the sides and top are one part # and the bottom and back, are another part #. I did not know this. I just purchased the top and sides. I got lucky, the back and bottom were still in good shape. So I guess I should have read the description of the part more carefully to see what it covers, before I ordered it. It took two people two hours to do the work, it was really nice to have an extra set of eyes, to remember what direction pieces of metal from the stove went. I would do it all over in a heart beat instead of buying a new stove.

Scratches in Surface
This product comes in a bottle with a brush like Liquid Paper. It goes on incredibly easy. A second coat might be needed. I wanted to prevent rust from setting in so I covered the scratches and dings. The paint is a little brighter since my washer is 10 years old but it still looks great.
