My ice maker makes ice only when i manually lower the wire arm. After each cycle it locks in the up position and has to be manually lowered each time for ice to cycle.

Hello Donald and thanks for writing.
Try resetting your ice maker see if this does the trick
Look for the Reset Button
To access it, you must first remove the ice tray. Once you do that, you should see the bright red reset button on the bottom of the ice maker itself. To reset the ice maker, push this button in and hold it for 10 seconds. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime.

The fridge part stopped cooling after I pushed the door alarm button for 3 seconds, and accessed the settings menu. All of the settings seem to be right, now, but the fridge temp is rising. It's set to 35°F, and the freezer part seems to be okay. Can you please advise? Thanks
For model number MFI2269VEM10
Hello Craig, thank you for contacting us. We would recommend checking the thermistor, part number PS2003772. Also, check the door seal, part number PS16221237, and make sure no warm air is leaking into the refrigerator. If this does not help, the issue is probably related to the electronic control board, part number PS11752535. Please reach out to customer service if you need help placing an order. Glad to be of help!
The ice maker is leaking . I pulled up the ice maker where it breaks it down in parts. Part #8 is where leak is at ? Is there a gasket for this?
For model number MFI2269VEM10
Hello Perry, Thank you for your inquiry. Checking the model number you have provided, 8 is the divider for the ice container, there is a gasket part# PS11743684 that fits onto it. If the ice maker appears to be leaking water into the bucket, check the water fill tube and the water inlet valve, as if the valve is faulty, it could be causing an overflow of water into the ice maker. You can test the valve with a multimeter. Set your multi-meter to the Rx1 setting and touch the terminals with the probes. You are testing for continuity and should receive a reading of 200 to 500 ohms. If you are unfamiliar with how a multimeter functions, we have videos available to assist you. We hope this helps with your repair.
Ice machine quit i changed filter but still not producing ice ?
For model number MFI2269VEM10
Hello Dwanye,
Thank you for your question. If the filter did not solve the issue with your ice maker for your model MFI2269VEM10, we would recommend replacing the ice maker assembly under part PS11769140. We hope this helps you.
Pressed in the end of the filter cover, lowered it down part way. Twisted the old filter 1/4 turn and removed it. Set in the sink to drain. Inserted new filter and twisted it to lock. closed cover. Done. Total time @ 1 Minute.
I knew the chances of all the freon leaking out was unlikely so I looked at the wiring to the compressor and there was a capacitor and a starter/overload so i figured I would start there. I went on line and found the parts at this site and they were less than the minimum service call charge for a service tech so I figured what the heck let's give her a shot so I did give it a shot. I ordered the parts and they were there in less time than a service tech could come out and i installed the parts and guess what for 90.00 in parts and 15 minutes in time I repaired my refrigerator. Thanks guys, It took less time to order the parts than it did to make the repair so thanks, your website rocks and is very well designed so my hat is off to you guys!
