What is the temperature range of this unit ? Can this unit be used as a refrigerator instead of a freezer?

Hello Susan, thank you for contacting us. No, this freezer can not be used as refrigerator. Freezers are built to reach temperatures around 0°F (-18°C), much colder than a refrigerator's 33.8°F to 50°F, and lack the controls to adjust to this higher range. Unlike convertible models, it doesn't have the necessary components or design features to safely and effectively operate as a refrigerator. We hope this information helps!

had freezer unplugged for about a year now the compressor just has a little humm like it wants to start but doesn't

My husband removed the old hinge, by taking out the old screws and the old hinge and attached the new one, by inserting the new hinge and the new screws. It was as easy as 123.

Pliers, Socket set

Took out the screws(8mm). Used pliers to close new hinges. Re-installed the screws with as large washers as would fit(to hopefully prevent the hinges from cracking at the screw holes like the originals did). I like this supplier, part was easy to find, correct part, shipped fast, price was good.
