I received a “fault detected disable power to clear”, error. When disabling the power did not work, i ordered three elements. They all worked with the exception of the top oven on my double oven stove. I replaced the terminal block and now when i try to turn on the top oven, i receive a “feature not available “ error. What part should i get so that my top oven can work properly?Other than this issue, the oven works fine. Thanks in advance.

On double oven, top door will not open

Hello Pat, thank you for reaching out. According to our research, the oven door latch, part number WPW10471348, is likely causing the top door to remain locked because its internal gears can strip or the motor/switch can fail electrically, leaving the lock rod stuck in the closed position. Replacing it can help fix the issue. We hope this helps!

Took 2 screws under front edge of smooth top. Unscrewed ground wire from back of smooth top unit. Unplugged 2 wire bundles, from back. Took bad element out , put in new one. Put back together. About 10 min's tops. Easy peasy.

Removed and replaced above named parts, rewired.Be sure to tighten all nuts that secure wires. I believe this is what caused the problem.
