The belt included in the Whirlpool kit 4392067 is part# 3387610. It is 92 1/2 inches long; however, the 13 year old belt in my Maytag dryer is approx. 2 inches longer. The Maytag website states that the kit 'fits' my dryer and the belt they sell separately (WPW10112954) for my dryer model is also specified as 92 1/2". Could my old belt have stretched? Can the spring actuated idler wheel accommodate the new slightly shorter belt? Thank you for your review!
For model number MEDE300VW1
Hello Per, Thank you for the question. It is common for the old belt to stretch over time. The Idler will fit the 92 1/2" Belt. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!

The issue was the idler pulley. First I began opening up the front panel based on a youtube video but soon realized the model was slightly different and required a lot more items to remove. I saw the pulley in the back with nothing in the way so I put the front panel crap back on and removed the rear panel. There it was, very simple to re
