How can i tell if my dryer is not heating enough, if it is a fuse, or element?

Hello Betty, thank you for your question. Looking at your model information there are a few parts that you should take out and test to see which one is giving you the issue. The first part to check in this case would be all your thermostats and thermal fuses. Thermal Cut-Off Kit, part number PS991443, Dryer High Limit Thermostat, part number PS11746386, and the Thermal Fuse, part number PS1410819. You can test those parts with a multi meter, and they should be reading 0 ohms to be working correctly. If those parts are fine, you should then go on to testing your heating element as well. Part number PS11746337. You can also test that with a multi meter, and it should be reading between 0 - 50 ohms. Something else you should also check would be your filter and ducts. Make sure there is absolutely no blockage that would restrict air flow in your appliance. We hope that helps. Good luck with your repair. ... Read moreuld not turn and the sensor light stayed on. I thought something else was broken with the dryer and spent hours trouble shooting other problems that I was having. Finally I figured out that the drum belt was not installed correctly around the idler pulley. However, I could not get it properly installed from the front of the machine so I tried from the rear still with no avail. I finally had to fish the old belt out of the garbage can that I had thrown away earlier. I lined up the old belt with the new one in the kit and discovered that the new belt was much smaller, so I put the old one back on the drum. Here's the lesson I learned...make sure the belts are the same size before attempting to install. The old idler was responsible for the squeaking and that stopped but I am still using the same old drum belt. Hope it lasts.
I removed the top cover and then the back cover, released the belt tensioner and removed the drive belt. Then slid the tub out of the unit and onto the back dack. Sanded the remnents of the old seal off. Wiped the tub lip with laquer thinner and applied the "fast" drying glue supplied with the kit. Installed the seal and re-assembled the
