It is important to replace the glass as soon as it is no longer functioning well to prevent uneven heating and reduce any safety hazards from damaged glass. Carefully pull the old glass cooking tray from the microwave and clean the microwave cavity. Place the new tray onto the rotating mechanism, and properly align it with the rollers. Turn the microwave on and check to see that the tray is rotating freely.
