Rarely used strapshooter, almost new condition. Plugged in air hose , pulled trigger and the nosepiece moves down but does not fire nails?

Hi Joe, thank you for contacting us. Add a full new strip of nails. Ensure the pusher is pulled back and then released to snap the nails forward into the nosepiece. If the tool has been sitting, the internal O-rings may be dry or stuck, preventing the piston from moving fast enough to strike the nail even though the safety/nose is moving. Put 3–5 drops of pneumatic tool oil directly into the air inlet where the hose connects. Reconnect the air and fire it several times into a scrap piece of wood to distribute the lubricant. We hope this sorts out your problem!
