how much compressor oil does it take ? Cannot read the window with red dot. Oil is clear and new
Hello Steve, thank you for contacting us. The oil-lubricated air compressor has a crankcase oil capacity of approximately 0.25 liters (8.5 fl oz / 250 mL). Since the oil is clear and new, it can be very difficult to see the level through the sight glass. Try shining a flashlight at a 45 degree angle onto the sight glass from the side rather than straight on, the reflection off the surface of the oil will make the fluid line visible against the red dot background. The oil level should sit right at the center of the red dot with the compressor resting on flat level ground. Glad to be of assistance!
