Makes loud buzz noise every few mins, wont cool, when you turn it on fan mode, noise goes away, still not cooling. Do I need a new unit?

Hello Kimberly, Thank you for the question. A buzzing and not cooling could mean the compressor may not be working properly and would need to be replaced. We hope this helps.
Compressor stays on cool and won’t kick off to fan and when unit is turned off it makes a humming noise I have to unplug it
