A secure door handle allows you to easily open and close the refrigerator as needed. Over time the screw may break, become corroded, or the threads may wear down. If this happens, the handle may become loose or wobbly, or detach completely from the door. It is recommended to replace the handle screw if it is no longer in good working condition in order to avoid potential damage to the door panel. Each handle screw is sold individually.

They told me it was a small black box, like for headlights in a car (can't remember what they called it) and said it would be $15-$20 for the part. One repairman told me the compressor was out & that would cost me $850 plus labor! On line it is only $250, but was told that's not the problem, that this little black box would fix it
Chris Boyle Profile

Ice machine not producing ice or very little. If I replace the filter it will produce ice for a few days, then stop. I’ve replaced the filter 3 times in about a month and get the same results.
Chris Boyle Profile
Hi Scott, thank you for getting in touch. First, we would recommend making sure that there is no issue with the water supply to the refrigerator. If that is not causing the issue and you have already replaced the filter, we would recommend checking the filter housing, part number PS11708118, as it is most likely faulty. We hope this information is useful!

Refrigerator Ice maker quit producing ice.
15 of 25 people found this instruction helpful.
  • Thomas from HUNTSVILLE, TX
  • Really Easy
  • 15 - 30 mins
  • Screw drivers
This repair was easy. The ice maker assembly is basically a plug and play unit that requires first removing the ice bucket as described inside the freezer door. Next, remove several screws the support the unit, then gently lifting the ice maker assembly out, just far enough to access the 2 electrical plugs that operate the unit. Caref ully unplug the old unit and remove it. Next, plug the new unit and then reverse the disassembly process. I could have done this in 10 minutes had I not been careful not to break anything. No special tools are required.

  • Kyle from NEW ORLEANS, LA
  • Very Difficult
  • More than 2 hours
I paid for the expedited shipping and they sent me a cheap knockoff attempt at the part that had the wrong size hole. So they refunded me the money I paid for the part but not the shipping, and then I crushed the part they sent me with a hammer and threw it away.
