A faulty control board assembly will result in inaccurate temperature readings, malfunctioning timers, and clocks, and difficulty switching the appliance on and off. Before beginning any repairs, ensure the oven is unplugged to prevent electrical accidents. Remove the fasteners that hold the control panel cover and set the cover aside. Carefully disconnect the wiring connectors from the control board and make note of or take pictures of how the wires are connected. Remove the control board from its mounting position and position the new control board in place. Reconnect wiring connectors using your notes/images and reassemble the control panel to complete the repair.
